Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to ADHSpace. By accessing or using ADHSpace, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all visitors, users, professionals, and administrators using ADHSpace. ADHSpace is operated in the United Kingdom and these terms are governed by English law.

2. What ADHSpace Is

ADHSpace is a discovery and connection platform that helps people find ADHD-informed professionals — including therapists, coaches, psychologists, counsellors, and ADHD executive and business support professionals. ADHSpace is primarily designed for adults aged 18 and over seeking ADHD-related support. However, ADHSpace may also be used by: • Parents seeking support regarding a child with ADHD • Adults supporting a partner with ADHD • Adults supporting a family member with ADHD • Families affected by ADHD • Adults seeking guidance around parenting, family dynamics or relationships where ADHD is relevant ADHSpace does not directly provide professional matching services for children under 18. Adults using ADHSpace on behalf of or in relation to a child remain responsible for ensuring that any professional they engage is appropriately qualified to support that child's needs. ADHSpace supports matching across a wide range of ADHD-related specialisations, including (but not limited to): parenting with ADHD, parenting a child with ADHD, family life with ADHD, supporting families with ADHD, relationships and dating, ADHD and menopause, ADHD support at work, ADHD in professionals and executives, women with ADHD, LGBTQ+ clients, late-diagnosed ADHD, ADHD + autism (AuDHD), Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD), ADHD and trauma, ADHD and dyslexia, and ADHD and addiction. These are examples of supported matching categories and are not exhaustive. Specialisation labels — including categories such as ADHD and trauma, ADHD and addiction, and ADHD and dyslexia — are self-declared by professionals and are not independently verified by ADHSpace. These labels describe areas of experience or interest and do not constitute an endorsement, clinical qualification, or guarantee of suitability. Users with complex clinical needs — including addiction or trauma — are responsible for independently verifying that any professional they engage is appropriately qualified for their specific circumstances. ADHSpace is not a healthcare provider. We do not provide therapy, coaching, medical advice, or emergency services. All professional services are provided independently by listed professionals. The matching process — including questionnaire-based results — is algorithmic and informational only. It considers factors including the type of support sought, areas of difficulty, preferred professional roles, session format, budget, availability, language, and other preferences selected by the user. It is not a clinical assessment, diagnosis, or recommendation. Users are responsible for evaluating whether any professional is appropriate for their needs.

2a. AI Matching Assistant

In addition to the standard questionnaire, ADHSpace offers an AI Matching Assistant — a conversational tool that allows users to describe their needs in their own words and receive professional recommendations. The AI Matching Assistant is algorithmic and informational only. It is not a clinical assessment, diagnosis, or recommendation, and it is not a substitute for professional advice or emergency support. If a message sent to the AI Matching Assistant indicates a possible safety or crisis concern, the assistant will automatically respond with crisis support resources instead of, or in addition to, professional matches. This automated keyword-based detection is a safety measure only. It is not a clinical risk assessment and may not catch every situation of concern. If you or someone you know is in crisis, contact emergency services or a crisis support provider directly — see Section 17 (Emergency Support). Conversations with the AI Matching Assistant are logged, together with an anonymous session identifier, for admin review, safety monitoring, and service improvement, as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Professional Accounts & Dashboard

Approved professionals receive access to a personal dashboard where they can: • Manage and update their public profile • Set pricing, session length, availability, and service format • Select and display payment options (such as pay per session, coaching packages, monthly retainers, or payment plans) • Upload accreditation documents and an intro video • Add and manage clients • Track and schedule sessions via the calendar • Send session reminder emails and meeting link reminders to clients • Enable automatic pre-session reminders that fire without requiring manual action each time (see Section 9) • Send optional payment links directly to clients • View and manage enquiries received through the platform • Pause or mark their profile as fully booked • Request removal of their own profile and account by contacting ADHSpace at hello@adhspace.com Professionals are responsible for the accuracy of all information they publish, including credentials, qualifications, pricing, availability, and payment options. Where professionals use the dashboard to send emails to clients (including session reminders, meeting link notifications, and payment links), professionals are responsible for ensuring they have obtained appropriate consent from those clients to receive such communications. ADHSpace sends these emails on the professional's behalf as a technical service only. Where professionals enable automatic pre-session reminders, they confirm that they have appropriate consent from the relevant clients to receive automated communications on that basis.

4. Professional Independence

All professionals listed on ADHSpace are independent. ADHSpace: • Does not provide therapy, coaching, or clinical services directly • Does not manage sessions, payments, or clinical relationships between professionals and clients • Does not supervise or monitor professional-client interactions • Does not guarantee professional outcomes, response times, or service quality • Does not provide insurance services, guarantee insurance eligibility, or guarantee reimbursement or coverage for any session • Does not process payments between professionals and clients • Does not take any commission, percentage, or cut from fees charged by professionals to clients • Is not responsible for any financial arrangements, invoices, refunds, cancellations or payment disputes between professionals and clients Professionals retain full and independent control over their pricing, the services they offer, their availability, and their client relationships. ADHSpace has no authority over, and accepts no responsibility for, any aspect of the professional-client relationship. Professionals are fully responsible for setting, collecting, and managing their own session fees directly with clients. This includes their own fees and pricing, invoices, payment collection, refund policies, financial compliance, client agreements, and all services delivered. Professionals set their own prices, manage their own communications, and are responsible for their own professional conduct, professional indemnity insurance, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations — including any professional licensing requirements in their jurisdiction. ADHSpace does not verify whether professionals hold valid licences in every country or jurisdiction in which they may offer services. International users are responsible for confirming that any professional they engage is appropriately qualified and authorised to practise in their location.

4a. Private Health Insurance

ADHSpace allows professionals to indicate on their profile whether they accept private health insurance, and to list insurance providers they work with. ADHSpace also allows users to indicate an insurance preference via the questionnaire and enquiry forms. This functionality is provided as a convenience feature only. ADHSpace: • Does not provide insurance services of any kind • Does not verify, guarantee, or confirm insurance eligibility for any user or professional • Does not guarantee reimbursement or coverage for any session or service • Is not responsible for insurance decisions made by insurance providers, professionals, or users • Does not process insurance claims on behalf of any party Insurance information displayed on professional profiles is provided solely by the professional. ADHSpace does not independently verify that this information is accurate, current, or applicable to any specific policy or user. Insurance arrangements — including eligibility, pre-authorisation, and claims — remain solely between the client, the professional, and the relevant insurance provider. Professionals are responsible for ensuring that any insurance information displayed on their profile is accurate and kept up to date. Professionals must update their profile promptly if accepted insurance providers change or if they cease to accept private health insurance. Users are responsible for independently verifying insurance coverage, eligibility, and any pre-authorisation requirements directly with their insurer and chosen professional before booking or commencing support. Insurance matching preferences and search filters are provided for convenience only and do not constitute a guarantee that any particular professional will accept, or be accepted by, a user's insurance provider.

5. Professional Applications, Credentials & Verification

Professionals apply to join ADHSpace by completing an application form. As part of our onboarding process, we may: • Review applications and supporting documentation • Request proof of qualifications, accreditations, memberships, insurance or experience • Approve or decline applications at our sole discretion • Request additional information where necessary • Remove professionals from the platform where terms are violated or concerns arise Qualifications, memberships, accreditations and supporting information submitted during onboarding are reviewed as part of our approval process before a professional is listed on the platform. Following approval, professionals are responsible for ensuring that all information displayed on their profile, including qualifications, accreditations, memberships, experience, areas of practice, specialisations, and payment options, remains accurate, current and up to date. ADHSpace reserves the right to request additional evidence, review profile information, amend, suspend or remove credentials, qualifications or professional profiles where information is found to be inaccurate, misleading, incomplete, out of date or inconsistent with platform standards. Listing on ADHSpace does not constitute a guarantee, endorsement or warranty of a professional's suitability, service quality or outcomes. Users remain responsible for conducting their own due diligence before engaging a professional. Applications that are declined will be notified by email. ADHSpace is not obligated to provide reasons for rejection.

6. Professional Sign-In & Verification Codes

Professionals access their dashboard using an email-based verification flow. A one-time verification code is sent to the professional's registered email address to confirm identity at sign-in. Professionals may also use a password reset flow to regain access to their account. Professionals are responsible for keeping their registered email address secure and up to date. ADHSpace is not liable for unauthorised access resulting from a professional's email account being compromised.

7. Profile Visibility

Professionals can manage how their profile appears on the platform: • Active profiles are publicly visible and open to enquiries • Paused profiles are temporarily hidden from public listings • Fully booked profiles remain publicly visible but display a "Fully booked" status and do not accept new enquiries ADHSpace respects these visibility settings but is not responsible if display delays occur due to technical issues. Some profiles on the platform may be demo or placeholder profiles used for testing or illustrative purposes. These are not real practitioners and should not be contacted for professional services.

8. Client Enquiries & Intro Call Requests

When a user sends an enquiry or requests an intro call with a professional: • The user's name, email address, and message are forwarded to the professional via email • The enquiry or request is stored in the ADHSpace platform for moderation and support purposes • Professionals decide independently whether to respond or accept new clients • ADHSpace does not guarantee that enquiries will receive a response • ADHSpace is not responsible for communication outcomes between users and professionals By submitting an enquiry or intro call request, users consent to their contact details being shared with the selected professional.

9. Automated Email Communications

ADHSpace sends automated emails in the following circumstances: • Professional application approvals or rejections • Dashboard account invitations and onboarding • Client enquiry notifications to professionals • Session reminder emails triggered manually by the professional • Automatic pre-session reminder emails, where the professional has enabled the auto-reminder feature for a session (these fire automatically without requiring the professional to trigger them each time) • Meeting link reminder emails triggered by the professional • Payment link emails triggered by the professional (optional feature) • Email verification codes for professional sign-in • Platform or policy update notices • Newsletters, announcements, and other broadcast updates sent by ADHSpace admins to professionals Professionals who enable the automatic pre-session reminder feature confirm that they have appropriate consent from the relevant clients to receive automated communications. ADHSpace is not responsible for delivery failures caused by technical issues outside our control. Professionals who use any session management email features acknowledge that emails sent to their clients via ADHSpace are delivered using third-party email infrastructure.

10. Profile Images, Videos & Media

Professionals may upload a profile photo and link to an intro video (e.g. via YouTube, Vimeo, Loom, or Google Drive). By uploading or linking media, professionals confirm that: • They own or have the right to use the content • The content is accurate, professional, and not misleading • The content does not infringe any third-party rights ADHSpace may remove profile images or videos that are inappropriate, misleading, or in breach of these terms. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or behaviour of third-party video hosting platforms.

11. Payments & Membership

The ADHSpace founding phase is now closed. Founding Professionals — those who joined during the platform's initial launch period — are grandfathered at the locked founding rate of £39/month, as confirmed at the time of their onboarding. Founding Professional status is personal to the original account holder and is not transferable. All new professionals joining ADHSpace from the close of the founding phase onwards are enrolled on the standard membership rate of £59/month. This standard rate applies once paid memberships are introduced; until then, access to the professional dashboard remains free. Any applicable pricing and billing terms are confirmed in writing at the time of onboarding. Founding rates are honoured for the lifetime of a qualifying, continuously active membership, as set out in Section 11d. ADHSpace reserves the right to introduce subscription fees or adjust pricing for future members. Where a membership fee increase is introduced or applied to an existing professional's account (other than a Founding Professional on their locked founding rate), ADHSpace will provide at least two (2) months' advance notice by email, as set out in Section 11d. Professionals are fully responsible for setting, collecting, and managing their own session fees directly with clients. ADHSpace does not process payments between professionals and clients, does not take any commission from client fees, and is not a payment processor.

11a. Payment Options on Profiles

Professionals may display payment options on their public profile to inform clients how sessions can be paid for. These options — such as "Pay per session", "Coaching packages available", "Monthly retainer available", "Payment plans available", or "Please enquire about payment options" — are self-declared by the professional. ADHSpace: • Does not verify or guarantee the availability of any stated payment option • Does not administer, arrange, or enforce any payment structure between professionals and clients • Is not responsible for any arrangement made between a professional and client in connection with a displayed payment option Payment option information is provided for informational purposes only. Clients should confirm the professional's current payment arrangements directly before engaging their services.

11b. Optional Payment Links

Professionals may choose to send payment links directly to clients through the ADHSpace platform dashboard, or display a payment link on their public profile. This is an entirely optional feature. Payment links are provided solely for convenience and may include links to third-party payment services such as Stripe, PayPal, Square, invoice platforms, booking pages, or other external payment methods chosen by the professional. ADHSpace: • Does not process, collect, hold or manage client payments • Does not have access to any payment details entered via third-party payment services • Is not responsible for the security, reliability, or performance of any third-party payment platform • Accepts no responsibility for payment disputes, failed transactions, chargebacks, refunds, or financial arrangements made between professionals and clients All financial arrangements, invoices, refunds, cancellations, and payment disputes are handled directly between the professional and the client. Payment links entered by professionals are transmitted solely for the purpose of being shared with the relevant client and are not stored as part of a client's permanent record on the platform.

11c. Third-Party Links & External Services

Payment links, booking links, external websites, and other third-party services shared by professionals through ADHSpace may direct users away from the ADHSpace platform. ADHSpace is not responsible for the content, security, privacy practices, or services provided by any third-party website or service. Users access external services at their own discretion and are subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third parties. ADHSpace does not endorse any third-party payment provider, booking platform, or external service linked to by professionals on the platform.

11d. Changes to Membership Fees

ADHSpace reserves the right to modify, increase, or adjust membership fees payable by professionals at any time, in our sole discretion. This right applies to professionals who are not on the Founding Professional promotional rate. Founding Professionals are not subject to fee increases, provided that their membership remains active and continuous. Founding Professional status is personal to the original account holder and is not transferable. A membership that has lapsed, been cancelled, suspended, or removed is not eligible to resume Founding Professional pricing on rejoining, and standard fees then in effect will apply. Where a membership fee increase is introduced or applied to an existing professional's account, ADHSpace will provide that professional with at least two (2) months' advance notice by email sent to the registered email address associated with their account. If you do not wish to accept the new fees, you have the right to cancel your membership prior to the effective date of the new fees, in which case the existing fees will continue to apply up to the start of the next billing cycle following the effective date. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of a fee increase constitutes acceptance of the new fees. ADHSpace is not liable for any commercial or other loss arising from a professional's decision to cancel in response to a fee increase.

12. Reviews & Testimonials

ADHSpace may display reviews and testimonials on the platform. Reviews are submitted to ADHSpace and are subject to moderation before being published. By submitting a review or testimonial, you: • Confirm that the content is accurate and reflects your genuine experience • Grant ADHSpace a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your review and reviewer name publicly on the platform • Acknowledge that ADHSpace may edit or remove reviews that are inaccurate, abusive, misleading, or in breach of these terms ADHSpace does not verify the identity of reviewers. Reviews represent the views of the individual submitting them and do not constitute endorsement or verification by ADHSpace. Professionals who believe a review is inaccurate or inappropriate may request a review by contacting hello@adhspace.com.

12a. Reporting a Problem

ADHSpace provides a "Report an issue" feature allowing users to report problems, bugs, or concerns encountered on the platform. Reports submitted through this feature, including any description and technical details provided, are stored and reviewed by ADHSpace administrators for the purposes of investigating and resolving the issue. Please do not use this feature to report a personal safety or medical emergency. See Section 17 (Emergency Support) for appropriate contacts in a crisis.

13. User Responsibilities

All users of ADHSpace agree to: • Provide accurate information when using the platform • Use the platform respectfully and in good faith • Not submit false, misleading, or abusive enquiries • Not misrepresent their identity or needs • Not misuse or attempt to exploit the platform or its systems • Not use the platform to contact professionals for purposes unrelated to legitimate support Where users indicate an insurance preference via the questionnaire or enquiry forms, they acknowledge that: • Insurance filters and matching preferences are provided for convenience only • Matching results do not guarantee that a professional will accept their specific insurance policy or provider • Users must independently verify eligibility with their insurer and chosen professional before booking or commencing support • ADHSpace accepts no responsibility for any insurance claim, dispute, or coverage decision

14. User-Generated Content

Users and professionals may submit content to ADHSpace, including profile bios, credentials, images, videos, session notes, messages, and reviews or testimonials. By submitting content, you grant ADHSpace a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content for the purposes of operating the platform. You are solely responsible for content you submit. ADHSpace may remove or moderate content that is inaccurate, abusive, inappropriate, or in breach of these terms.

14a. Articles & Insights

Article categories include Coaching, Diagnosis, Medication, Workplace, Community, Relationships, and General. Articles are intended for informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute medical, clinical, or professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional for support specific to your circumstances. Where a professional writes an article using their dashboard: • Their byline (name, credentials, and photo) is displayed on the article and links back to their ADHSpace public profile • Articles submitted for publication are sent to ADHSpace for moderation and review before appearing publicly • ADHSpace reserves the right to approve, reject, request changes to, or remove any article at its sole discretion • Professionals retain ownership of their content but grant ADHSpace a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and publish that content on the platform • Professionals are responsible for ensuring their articles are accurate, do not infringe third-party rights, and comply with applicable professional and advertising standards • ADHSpace may display a disclaimer on articles clarifying that content is informational only Registered professionals may like and comment on published articles. Comments are visible publicly and are attributed to the commenting professional by name and photo. ADHSpace may moderate, hide, or remove comments that are inappropriate, abusive, misleading, or in breach of these terms. Article likes and comments are limited to authenticated professionals on the platform. ADHSpace does not verify the accuracy of article content written by professionals and is not responsible for any views, opinions, or advice expressed therein.

15. Intellectual Property

All ADHSpace branding, design, platform architecture, copy, and materials are owned by ADHSpace unless otherwise stated. Users and professionals may not copy, reproduce, scrape, or misuse platform content without prior written permission.

16. Limitation of Liability

17. Emergency Support

International users must independently confirm that any professional they engage is authorised to practise in their jurisdiction.

19. Account Suspension & Removal

ADHSpace may suspend, restrict, or permanently remove access for accounts that: • Violate these terms • Misrepresent credentials, identity, or professional services • Behave abusively toward users, professionals, or the platform • Create safety, legal, or reputational concerns Professionals may also request voluntary removal of their own profile and account by contacting ADHSpace at hello@adhspace.com. Upon removal — whether voluntary or otherwise — the professional's public profile will be taken down promptly. ADHSpace is not liable for any commercial losses resulting from account suspension or removal.

20. Disputes

Any disputes between users and professionals are solely between those parties. ADHSpace is not a party to the professional-client relationship and accepts no liability for disputes arising from it.
